An unusual facility in the Krkonoše Mountains that stands out from the rest primarily because of its impressive number of water bodies, giving it the feel of a luxury resort like those found in warmer countries.
The equipment included 125 suites in separate villas and 60 rooms in the hotel building. Fitting out hotel rooms, including hotel beds and hotel beds, is a daily occurrence for us – a standard job we are accustomed to. The bigger challenge is always the common areas, as each has a unique character and requires an individual approach.
This time the challenge turned out to be really big. The investor entrusted us with a complex implementation and imposed a fast pace, since the facility had to be ready for Christmas and New Year. We started the design work and arrangements in September, and had only three months left for implementation – until December 20.
What’s more, in addition to the standard reception counters, lobby bar and pool build-out, we also made all the walls and ceilings decorative. The technologies used included furniture boards, milled boards and contact boards, and we installed coffers, laths and milled elements on the ceilings. In total, we installed more than 572 m² of walls and 630 m² of ceilings. To meet the deadline, we worked over eight consecutive weekends.
We also realized the furniture furnishings of the SPA offices and all the built-ins in the common bathrooms, including the system locker cabinets at the swimming pool. Also noteworthy is the beautiful wine and cosmetics cabinet, which has become a real decoration of the interior. We also can’t leave out the breakfast buffet, which was an essential part of our implementation.
A separate challenge was the installation of partially slanted structural beams, which had to act as a decorative curtain structure while carrying the weight of rails and curtains in 27 rooms.
