In order to determine how noise propagates in a hotel room, it is necessary to measure the level of noise, the way it propagates and its attenuation capabilities. As part of the “Voucher for Innovation” project, together with the scientific team of the Silesian University of Technology (Department of Automatic Control Electronics and Computer Science of the Silesian University of Technology) and the equipment it has at its disposal, we measured a standard room at the Witek Hotel in Krakow.
Measurements were taken of the sources of noise, how it spreads, and its attenuation capabilities, and tests were conducted for the model room and adjacent rooms. Based on the results, we will improve the furniture, which, thanks to the materials used, size and arrangement, will increase the comfort of guests staying in hotel rooms, and its unique features, will distinguish it from others, giving customers extraordinary benefits from its purchase and use.

Noise dampening furniture can be seen in the CITY SILENCE furniture sets, as well as in the MOST DAMAGING furniture tab.
This was the process of measuring noise propagation in a hotel room.
