Information on implementation
In 2019 and 2020, we had the pleasure of furnishing another facility belonging to the Mountain Resorts network – the Platinium Mountain Resort & Spa in Szklarska Poreba – with hotel furniture. The facility consists of a hotel part with 150 rooms, as well as cottages with apartments of various configurations – from one- to three-bedroom. Due to this diversity, it is difficult to determine the exact number of rooms, as their layout does not correspond to the number of beds. However, it is precisely this specificity that made the implementation extremely diverse and challenging.
One of the most distinctive elements of the rooms was the decorative wood “wainscoting,” or more precisely, a decorative motif made of boards, placed over the transition door between the living room and bedroom and on the main wall. Another challenge was to elegantly disguise the sliding door separating the living room from the bedroom. The use of such a door allowed us to maintain intimacy and at the same time use the space efficiently.
In the common areas we used solutions combining wood, metal and ceramics. Particularly noteworthy is the hotel furniture in the lobby – the front of the reception counter was made of solid wood, and the front of the lobby bar was finished with ceramic tiles. In the restaurant space we realized a unique “plastic” breakfast table, which was the focal point of this space.
Thanks to our experience as a manufacturer of hotel furniture, we have managed to combine aesthetics, functionality and high quality, meeting the expectations of the most demanding guests of Platinium Mountain Resort & Spa.
