The first facility in Poland of the luxury brand of the Accor chain – Movenpick
We equipped the common areas with the necessary hotel furniture, ensuring both the comfort of use and the functionality of the space. The operator of this type of facility has special requirements, and one of the key ones was the use of a sliding door system in the breakfast buffet, which retracts into the furniture structure when closed. As a result, they remain invisible and allow full use of the width of the countertop. The operation of this solution can be seen in the video. The entire buffet is more than 15 meters long, and it is the longest buffet in the form of tall cabinets that we have realized so far.
In addition, at the buffet we made a double-sided island measuring 4 × 1.6 meters, fully encased in sintering – the same material used for the countertops at the breakfast buffet.
Throughout the realization, we used Forner board as the basic material, characterized by a higher decorative class compared to standard solutions available on the market.
In the counters, both reception and lobby bar, the tile only serves a structural function. In the most exposed elements, we used alternating wood, tile, sintering and Tinos Green marble. We finished the countertops and decorative elements with Migaloo glass, and used travertine in the cabinets.
The comfortable hotel sofas we have made allow you to both dine comfortably in the restaurant and relax in the lobby, where we have also placed tables with Terre di Bolgheri marble tops.
One of the biggest technical challenges was the Jacuzzi enclosure, which was not bricked, but made of a special steel structure, OSB and waterproof boards. Only on this base were decorative tiles placed. This is probably the only realization of its kind in Poland.
