Information on implementation

Hotel Metroplo by Golden Tulip was built on the basis of a pre-existing building, which was originally not adapted to serve as a hotel. Thanks to reconstruction and adaptation, the building gained a very distinctive appearance, while meeting chain standards. Most of the rooms were designed in a repetitive manner, which allowed for ergonomic space management. As a result, we delivered hotel furniture to 200 rooms and 10 suites.

One of the standout elements were the wooden decorative moldings on the walls behind the hotel beds, as well as metal details that served both a decorative and structural function. These elements included desk supports and mirror panels. Also characteristic of the interiors are lodges in the shape of “birdcages,” which are an interesting design accent.

In the common parts, which we also designed, manufactured and installed, we realized the design visions in full. The results can be seen in the material on our blog: visualizations versus reality. At the same time, we optimized the cost of the project, especially in the entrance area, as described in a separate article.

The realization was proof that even with demanding adaptations, it is possible to create a modern and functional facility that meets high network standards.
